Events over the last year

Pro Musica In May 2007 the group gave a lunchtime concert at Helmsley Arts Centre.  The programme included Tchaikovsky's String Serenade, Britten's Frank Bridge Variations, and Klementyna Zastawniak (M) was the soloist in the first movement of Bach's Violin Concerto in E major.  The ensemble repeated this programme a week later at the Exhibition Concert.

At the annual St Cecilia concert in November the Pro Musica joined the Ampleforth Singers in an ambitious and triumphant performance of Aaron Copland's In the Beginning, with Charity Mapletoft (M) singing the solo soprano part.
