Forum

The sixth form discussion group The Forum gives interested students an opportunity to consider issues in more depth than is sometimes possible during lessons. Discussion in The Forum is aimed at encouraging critical thinking in relation to current events, ethical and moral dilemmas, and current political arguments. Topics can be chosen by either students or staff, though often grows out of previous dialogue. Recent ones have included Does one country have the right to impose democracy on another? The ethics of embryo research, and Personal identity: perception and reality in contemporary culture.
