Shooting
Small and Full bore
shooting are on offer. During the Winter
and Lent terms .22 Shooting takes place in the afternoons
and evening on the schools own Indoor Range. The
school takes part in the Staniforth and Country
Life competitions. There are also Inter
House Competitions.
During the Summer
term Full Bore shooting takes place at Strensall
army ranges three times a week and on
the school outdoor range. The school
takes part in local and national
competitions. There is also an Inter
House Competition.
To mark the start of the Full Bore season a three day coaching, skills and shooting course is held at Bisley at the end of the Lent term. The school enters a team at Bisley each year.
