Friendship Holiday
A key moment for Face-Faw is the Friendship Holiday held each Summer since 2004 at Ampleforth. Year 12 students welcome students with learning, emotional and physical disabilities from the Shepherd School in Nottingham.
The Fifth Friendship Holiday took place from 30 June to 4 July 2008. Thirty students helped: Gregory Moss (H), Hamish Adams-Cairns (H), John Connolly (H), Harry Swinton (H), Kit Blakiston Houston (H), Michael Lawless (H), Rory Smith (H), Mark Topham (O), Jamie Maw (O), Jerome Hoyle (D), Anna Cubitt (B), Sophie Levack (B), Louisa Grew (B), Rebecca Tonna (B), Georgina Sandeman (A), Aurea Kevill (A), Isabel Cornell (A), Elizabeth Bryan (M), Emma Atkin-Brenninkmeyer (M), Frances Geale (M), Chiara Simpson (M), Cecily Gascoigne (M), Alex Rogers (M), Klementyna Zastawniak (M), Milly Newby (M), Sian Thomas (M), Georgina Irving (M), Millie Samengo Turner (M) and Ellie Codrington (M).
During the year since September 2007 some of the students have visited the Shepherd School in Nottingham.
