Rock Concert 2008
Saturday 3 May 2008 saw the annual Face-Faw Rock Concert take place in the St Alban Centre.
Two bands featured, membership as follows: Alex Entwistle (T) [Vocals/Guitar], Tom Irven (T) [Guitar], Kan Sato (T) [Bass], James Whetenhall (J) (Drums); Will Ramsden (H) (Vocals), Dan Chambers (T) and Antonio Calder-Smith (H) (Guitars) , Kan Sato (T) (Bass), Charlie Foster (H) (drums).
A third band played in the interval.
The evening was organised and co-ordinated by Charlie Foster (H) n conjunction with the marketing of teeshirts.
The concert raised an estimated £2,500 for Face-Faw projects. The money will be used to assist Romanian orphans [Romanian Christian Humanitarian Foundation – UK Support for Romania [RCHF-UK] and Dominic McCann (O02)], the hungry in Zimbabwe [through Monastery of Christ the World, an Ampleforth foundation] and a school linked to Ampleforth in Zanzibar [Francis Maria Libermann School].
