Year 12 students play host to guests from the Shepherd School

30 June 2009

Friendship and fun is the order of the day

The sixth Friendship Holiday took place between 22 -26 June and involved twenty-eight middle sixth students who entertained and help care for students from the Shepherd School in Nottingham.  The visiting students stayed on campus for five days.  The Shepherd School provides education for students with ‘severe and profound educational difficulties’ and is funded purely from student fundraising activities.

The week included trips to Flamingoland, The Castle Museum, York, and Diggerland.  The students also enjoyed barbeques, karaoke swimming and undertaking artwork on campus.
