At Ampleforth Abbey, we welcome many types of groups of all faiths and none. We've previously accommodated spiritual organisations, charities, yoga groups, parishes, and a variety of others.
We will work with you to design a retreat that suits your individual requirements, personalising your stay to the needs of your group. You can lead the retreat yourselves, taking advantage of our break-out spaces, private meeting rooms, outdoor green space, and on-site catering.
If you prefer, we can arrange a monk to lead the group for you.
Feel free to join the monks in any of their services in the Abbey Church, and enjoy leisurely walks around our acres of woodland and lakesides.
You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks and keep them in our kitchen area, or pay a little extra to enjoy delicious meals together prepared by one of our chefs.
We offer a range of dormitory and en-suite accommodation.
